A village churchyard beside the River Spree, with a medieval church, maple avenue and a Gothic Revival chapel.
The burial ground is documented from 1412. A Gothic Revival chapel was built in 1912, and a red-brick memorial from the 1920s commemorates Stralau residents killed in the First World War. The cemetery, chapel and war memorial have been protected since 1995. The village church is a late Gothic hall church from the fifteenth century. Its north wall carries the 1795 epitaph for Charlotte Dorothée Nusch, the oldest surviving grave monument in the cemetery.
